From Medical Chaos to Clear Care

Bespoke medical advocacy and healthcare navigation for individuals and families. Based in New York City.

I help people facing serious diagnoses, medical crises, and impossible healthcare systems make sense of what’s happening — and make sure they’re not doing it alone.

About My Approach

From Patient to Advocate

My path to this work started in a hospital bed. A cancer diagnosis, a mother's brain surgery, a father's final months — each crisis taught me what families need and what the system fails to provide. I built Alia to fill that gap.

The Outsider's Advantage

I'm not a nurse or a social worker. I'm someone who has been on both sides of the hospital bed — and that perspective is the most valuable thing I bring into the room. I see what the system can't: the whole person behind the diagnosis.

Translating Medicine into Understanding

Behind every scan and report is a story that needs translation. I help you interpret medical information, communicate with your care team, and make clear, grounded decisions in the moments that matter most.

Not sure where to start? Initial consultations are always complimentary. Sometimes the most important step is just having the conversation.

MISSION STATEMENT

Alia Advocacy provides bespoke medical advocacy, healthcare navigation, and wellness guidance for individuals and families facing serious diagnoses, elder care decisions, end-of-life planning, and recovery. I bridge the gap between patient and system — translating medical complexity into clear, humane pathways toward informed care. I also believe that navigating a health crisis doesn't end with the clinical plan. How you care for your body, mind, and daily life during and after treatment matters as much as the treatment itself. Drawing on over two decades of personal wellness practice, I help clients integrate evidence-based approaches to prevention, recovery, and quality of life into the full picture of their care.

Let’s Keep In Touch

If you or someone you love is navigating a medical crisis and could use a knowledgeable, steady guide, I'd welcome a conversation. Initial consultations are complimentary.
